The SAQ: The King Kong Performance (Go APE!)

The Vibe: Massive impact in a short amount of time. We’re not here for a indie flick; we’re here for the blockbuster points.

My Approach: The SAQ is where we prove you’ve mastered the "script" of history. To ensure you hit every mark for every lettered section (a, b, and c), we use the APE Strategy:

  • A – Answer: Clearly answer the question, using the wording of the prompt whenever possible to keep the "director" on your side.

  • P – Provide Proof: Cast a specific piece of evidence—specific individuals, places, or events—to back up your claim. The more specific the evidence, the better the performance.

  • E – Expand: Go "backstage" by providing further analysis or historical context to seal your point.

Why I Stand Out: Most students treat the SAQ as a throwaway. I teach you to treat it like a blockbuster scene. By using the APE method consistently, we ensure your answers are punchy, evidence-heavy, and guaranteed to grab the grader's attention.
